Passed down from the top-end Fuse shin guard is the ErgoDynamic Lab kneecap for a deeper fit and locked-in feel. A dense foam comfort pad placed in the center of the kneecap enhances cushioning while helping absorb impact away from the joint.

 

A standout feature of the F40 shin guards is the X-Flex Shield with an AMP hinge shin cap. This design introduces a strategic flex point where the shin guard meets the skate tongue, allowing it to move naturally with your stride. The result is improved mobility without feeling restrictive, while still maintaining a high level of coverage.

For protection, the shin guards feature a PE insert in the thigh and calf area. This combination helps shield you from pucks, slashes, and other impacts during play while maintaining a lightweight feel.

 

The F40 also features an updated strapping system. Bauer pairs a comfort lock strap at the top with a V-shaped calf strap to keep the shin guard securely in place, maximizing both performance and overall coverage throughout play.

 

The interior of the Supreme F40 includes a removeable comfort liner and a Thermomax Sublimated lining to keep the shin guards light while you play, and to help them dry out in between on-ice sessions.
