Built for the playmaker who battles hard, the ultra-light and well-balanced Sherwood CODE Photon Pro stick delivers elite-level performance with a powerful release. The new Hybrid 2 Flex Profile fires quick, heavy shots while the reinforced hosel and DCF Tech construction keep you strong in the corners. Lightweight, ultra-responsive, and built to last, no matter how hard you grind.

Key Features

Hybrid 2 Flex Profile: Lean in and fire away with our new Hybrid 2 flex profile, an evolution of the ultra-popular hybrid kickpoint. An enhanced “hinge” creates faster response and better precision on high shots while  a stiffer power hosel helps you win the puck battle, every time.

DCF Tech Construction: Play longer with that new-stick feel thanks to our industry- exclusive internal architecture featuring a Dual Carbon Frame (DCF) tech skeleton that strengthens blade and shaft inside and out for longer game play and less breakage.

Weight & Balance Point: Ultralight 370g @ 60” stick with optimized Featherlite XT balance point set higher on the shaft supercharges your shot speed and puck control.

R-Shape Shaft: A pro-preferred ergonomic design with square corners for better grip and control. Engineered for optimal vertical and horizontal flex, it delivers efficient energy transfer and ideal bend through every phase of your shot.

Blackline NXT – Micro-thin ply aerospace-grade carbon fibre oriented in an optimized sequence is used throughout the structure to create an ultra high-strength stick that delivers performance, consistency and durability.

VR92 Blade: Dampening material on the face reduces vibration up the stick while strategic heel/toe reinforcements up the impact resistance for enhanced feel and durability.

Tactile Grip: Boost energy transfer and accuracy with two 3D-raised texture zones - linear tactile for the upper hand and corner tactile for the lower hand - minimizing stick rotation for a quicker, more powerful release.

Why this may differ from half your body weight: Weight ÷ 2 is an old starting rule, not a final answer. Your recommended printed flex also depends on your likely stick length, shooting style, and any trimming you plan to do. Faster-release players often benefit from a lower number; power shooters may prefer a firmer shaft.

About cutting: Cutting a stick does not change its factory flex rating. It does reduce the effective bending span and player leverage, so the stick usually feels stiffer in use. To preserve the intended feel, this calculator lowers the recommended printed flex by four points per inch trimmed.

How to use the result: Start with the suggested retail flex, then test one adjacent flex above or below it in the same model, length, curve, and lie. A flex number is a comparison tool, not a universal measurement of how every stick will feel. Come in and we'll cut and tape it for you.
