The Sherwood REKKER Morph 1 Hockey Stick is for goal scorers who want to bring quickness, deceptiveness and precision to the game. The lightest Rekker stick ever created, the Morph provides an ultra-light feel with unmatched performance. This stick is built for the goal scorers looking to light the lamp every time they step on the ice.

Key Features

  • DCF – Dual Carbon Frame Technology: A Blackline XXV carbon fiber external layer pairs with an additional first internal core layer to reinforce the shaft and help improve durability.
  • Pyrofil by Mitsubishi Blackline XXV Carbon Fiber: Created by Mitsubishi Chemical, Pyrofil is a revolutionary lightweight carbon fiber that enhances durability and feel. The Blackline XXV material is a multi-filament carbon fiber weave that offers maximum strength to weight ratio throughout the shaft and blade.
  • VR92 Blade Dampening Material: The VR92 design features I-92 dampening inlays that strengthen the blade and improve feel both catching passes and shooting.
  • ETS – Ergo Taper Shaft: An all-new shaft design features 3 distinct shape variations. Rounded corners and convex side walls in the upper shaft; a concave forehand and convex backhand in the ergonomic shaped mid-shaft, and an oval taper. All work in tandem for a natural feel in the hands.
  • Low Kickpoint: A low kickpoint features a duo-fire design, allowing players to load and fire pucks quicker and faster than ever before.
  • Featherlite XT Balance: A precision handmade layering process creates the perfect balance point to maximize power, weight and feel.

Why this may differ from half your body weight: Weight ÷ 2 is an old starting rule, not a final answer. Your recommended printed flex also depends on your likely stick length, shooting style, and any trimming you plan to do. Faster-release players often benefit from a lower number; power shooters may prefer a firmer shaft.

About cutting: Cutting a stick does not change its factory flex rating. It does reduce the effective bending span and player leverage, so the stick usually feels stiffer in use. To preserve the intended feel, this calculator lowers the recommended printed flex by four points per inch trimmed.

How to use the result: Start with the suggested retail flex, then test one adjacent flex above or below it in the same model, length, curve, and lie. A flex number is a comparison tool, not a universal measurement of how every stick will feel. Come in and we'll cut and tape it for you.
